Anxiety

Understanding Anxiety: Finding Peace Amid the Chaos

Anxiety is a natural response to stress, but for some, it can become overwhelming and persistent, interfering with daily life. When anxiety becomes chronic, it may lead to anxiety attacks in everyday situations or develop into more severe conditions such as:

  • Panic Disorders

  • Social Phobias

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Specific Phobias (like medical or travel-related fears)

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Unchecked anxiety can also result in panic attacks—intense and sudden episodes of fear triggered by specific situations or feelings.

The good news? You don’t have to face this alone. Support is available to help you regain control, calm your mind, and create a life where anxiety no longer takes the lead. Let us guide you toward a path of relief, resilience, and peace.

A Deep Commitment to Your Healing and Growth

22_edited.jpg

My journey in therapy began with completing my Master’s and License in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I specialized in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). These approaches allowed me to work deeply with children and adults navigating trauma in areas such as attachment, childhood, relationships, single-event, and chronic experiences. I also gained specialized training in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, dissociation, substance use, postpartum challenges, and grief and loss, bringing a compassionate, psychodynamic perspective to every session.

Building on this foundation, my Doctorate in Psychology further enriched my understanding of family dynamics, couples and marriage therapy, and the transmission of intergenerational trauma. My studies incorporated psychoanalytic and psychodynamic principles, providing a deeper lens to address the complexities of human relationships and inherited patterns.

To expand into holistic healing, I completed certifications in Brainspotting and advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, which emphasize the powerful connection between the mind and body. These modalities have equipped me with effective tools for grounding, resilience-building, and fostering lasting transformation.

I am committed to helping you heal, grow, and thrive by bringing together evidence-based techniques and compassionate care tailored to your unique journey. Let’s work together toward your well-being.

Meeting You Where You're At
